A well-known Chinese recitation artist, language and arts educator, Vice-Chairman of the Professional Committee of Reading of the Chinese Culture Promotion Society, Vice-Chairman of the Professional Committee of presenters of the Chinese Culture Promotion Society, instructor of the Expert Group of the National Education Program of the Ministry of Education of China, presenter of the column "Disclosure of Secrets" of China Education TV Station and the column "Night of Museums", founder of China Reading Network, Deputy Secretary-General of the Recitation Research Association of Beijing Language Society, Executive Director of the Chinese Language Modernization Society, examiner of the Recitation Examination Committee of the Ministry of Culture, and distinguished professor of majors relating to language and art in more than 40 universities in China. He also dubbed thousands of Chinese and foreign film and television advertisements, thousands of Chinese and foreign film and television dramas, and animated films. Moreover, he took the role of a Chinese commentator for thousands of documentaries of some national television stations like Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS), British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation in English), and Tokyo Broadcasting System Television (TBS).
